Having conducted over 14,000 mediations, he has a gift for developing a rapport between all parties to get to the essential points of a case quickly and to resolve high conflict situations effectively.
For these reasons, Colorado Springs Style has cited Bill as one of the top mediators in Colorado Springs for the past three years.
“I asked Bill if people change their minds a lot after mediations he conducts. Bill’s reply was rarely because I don’t twist their arms or coerce them.”
“I was so nervous that I didn’t sleep two nights prior to the mediation. I was amazed at how easy Bill made the mediation seem.”
Licensed as an attorney in 1986 and active in the legal community since 1987, he served as a Deputy District Attorney in El Paso and Teller Counties before entering private practice in 1992.
Bill received his mediation training that same year and served for 21 years at the Office of Dispute Resolution for the 4th Judicial District, where he was instrumental in establishing a nationally recognized child protection mediation program.
Obtaining his undergraduate degree from Colorado College in 1983, he went on to graduate from St. Louis University of Law in 1986.
